However, Mojang has made it official.  Minecraft Gallery  that includes all Caves & Cliffs Part 2 features is scheduled to launch in the last week of November. The update will be available on all platforms Minecraft supports and will bring us many new biomes, an overhauled worlds generation and more.

Minecraft 1.18 will be available on November 30. The Java Edition update will be accessible on Windows, Mac, Linux and Linux PCs. The Bedrock Edition will launch on (deep breath) - PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.

The update features new world generation and improved cave systems as well as candles. But, as previously announced certain features have been pushed back from 1.18 and aren't included in 1.19 (also called The Wild update) either, as the devs have now confirmed.
